The Popps RANGER is a men's desert boot in black suede, a classic lace-up ankle boot built for everyday casual wear.

Black keeps the look simple and easy to wear. The suede upper has a soft matt finish that sits well with dark denim, chinos or heavier winter trousers, and the round toe and low profile mean it works just as readily with a jumper and jacket as with a smarter shirt. The flat heel, under 2.5cm, keeps the shape low and understated.

Inside, a textile lining sits against the foot, while the lightweight EVA sole takes the weight out of the boot and adds some cushioning underfoot. It is a regular width fit with a lace-up fastening, so you can adjust the hold across the instep to suit your foot. Great dessert boots.

My husband has worn these style of boot since the 70’s. Thought the offer of two pairs for £60 was a good one. Delivery very swift and nicely packaged. Removed a star as the sizing is a little inconsistent. He had some size 9 previously which were too big so ordered size 8 on his insistence. One pair is good but the other pair is very tight.
