Popps

Popps is retro footwear with the MOD movement at its heart. The range takes the classic desert boot, the desert shoe and the monkey boot, and keeps them just as they looked when the scooters were parked outside the dance hall. Suede and leather uppers, simple lace fronts and honest colours: black, navy, cognac, dark brown, taupe, sand, green and, on the women's PASTEL, a mellow yellow.

There is a Popps style for most tastes. The RANGER is a men's suede desert boot on an EVA sole, and the TROOPER comes in suede with a synthetic lining and a TPR sole. The COOPER desert boots have a faux fur lining for cold weather, in suede or leather. The JONAS is the lower cut suede desert shoe on a PVC sole, and the VESPA is a unisex suede desert boot. For something with more of a 1960's edge, the 1961 MOD monkey boots come in suede or leather with a textile lining and a TPR sole.

How to choose your Popps

By style

Want the full boot look? Go for a desert boot such as the RANGER in black suede or the VESPA in navy suede. Prefer something lower and lighter on the foot? The JONAS black suede desert shoe keeps the same lines in a shoe.

By lining

If you feel the cold, the COOPER with its faux fur lining is the one to reach for. Textile and synthetic linings run through the rest of the range.

By colour

Black and navy sit easily with dark trousers and a parka. Cognac, dark brown, taupe and sand suit chinos and denim. Green and yellow are there if you like a bit of colour under the turn-up.

Care

Brush suede when dry to lift the nap, and wipe leather with a soft cloth. Let boots dry naturally away from direct heat.
